vieroporo pants

when researching antlers and reindeer, i was surprised and impressed to learn that the finnish language had a very broad vocabulary specifically for reindeer and these words are often collected in a type of reindeer glossary (porosanasto).
vieroporo is a “guest reindeer” that unknowingly appears among your herd. i thought it sounded cute.

these low waist 3/4 pants are made from organic cotton towel fabric, hand dyed with coffee grounds and organic waste. the pleated dark red check fabric is 100% natural wool. the pants have front pockets, back pockets and an elastic waistline with a ribbon to tighten the waist.
