this piece is a remake of svart’s previous isohirvenjäkälä necklace from the ‘metsä collection’ in 2020.

Isohirvenjäkälä (Cetraria islandica) is an Arctic-alpine lichen whose erect or upright, leaflike habit gives it the appearance of moose antlers, where its finnish name (lit. big moose lichen) comes from.
