hakuraku coat

42,000kr.

the hakuraku coat is the highlight of the collection – inspired specifically by the shedding of antlers.

the main fabric resembles the highly vascular, soft, fuzzy skin which cover growing antlers and supplies oxygen and nutrients to the growing bone of the animal. the velvet contains a robust network of blood vessels essential for nourishing the required growth.
when  the animal is ready to part with its antler fuzz, they scrape their antlers against trees, resulting in strips of bloody flesh hanging from their heads – which in this piece are represented by the red lines and details.

the coat has inseam side pockets, a full length zipper, shirt collar and adjustable waste straps.
